The leaves are already turning pretty colors.  Getting ready to cut back my flowers and pull leaves out of the garden & put manure around the plants for winter.  Put in  a few perennials & bulbs in spring, summer, & fall colors.  The vegetable garden is almost all cleaned out.  We pulled all the tomato, chard, cuke & onion plants.  The only thing left is 12 rows of carrots, early and late to dig, 1 row of green beans with grow cloth over them to protect them from the cold.  In October, we have to plant garlic bulbs for next year.  And that’s the end of the vegetable garden.
