DHHS got in my life so I had to choose to go to a Mother’s Group Home or lose my son to the state. So I choose to go to the group home and to go though the steps. For me to get through the steps was to do school, work, or volunteer. I choose to volunteer at the women’s center. They are a big part of my life When I am having a hard time I can come in and talk about what I am feeling, play games etc.
